Pace Interior Design's task was to create a vibrant facility unlike any in North America. The client wanted to provide a broad-spectrum environment where it would be fun to socialize, work out, stay fit and play all under one roof. Future growth considerations (July 2001) included many outdoor activity zones, one being a championship 18-hole golf course.

Designing every inch of a building of this size and complexity was a fun and energizing project. Pace Interior Design approached this as several individual design exercises within one overall theme. All angles, alcoves, elevations and ceilings were treated as their own entity. One gets the feeling of walking through "portals" into new adventures. The geometric theme of the Kingswood logo repeats in the interior design with detailed motifs, graphics and a lively use of colours and textures.
The membership and use of the facilities speak volumes about the project's success. Kingswood has been widely published and provides a model for other multi-purpose sports and leisure complexes.

"Pace Design added functionality, colour and excitement … and they helped us visualize Kingswood before it was even built."
