| The store's location , on the 3rd level of an atrium mall, is very visible to pedestrian traffic but the level lacked an anchor store to generate interest. English Butler has over 20 combinations of home decor and gift stores under its banner across Canada. Pace Interior Design has developed a look and fixture program that states a "classic elegance" and in this case new departments were added for an expanded store format. |

Our goal was to design an attractive, bright and classic storefront that would portray the elegance of the interior. With this store location there was a need to create various departments with distinctive fixture variations and lighting to produce a sense of drama. Control of traffic flow and visibility between the sales areas on two levels was also essential.

Pace Interior Design produced a number of preliminary layouts and worked together with the owner to consolidate the various ideas and present them into a workable floor plan. We believe that our clients need choices and that they must be confident that the final plan is the best plan.
Together, we zoned areas associated with home decor (casual dinnerware, formal dinnerware, pewter, crystal, linens, lace and cottons, art gallery, books, floral, etc.) From there we designed custom cabinetry and merchandising systems for each department. It was vital to work closely with a local millwork company to ensure the high standards of the client and the design.
The end result allows customers to easily browse while experiencing a sense of adventure around every corner. At least that's what many of the compliments say in our client's guest book!
